Take the Time You Need

But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray [in seclusion].
— Luke 5:16 (AMP)

Sometimes life can get a little out of control. Day to day activities have drained you, you’ve pushed through as much as possible, and every little thing is adding up. It should be a huge red flag when you can feel your peace and joy slowly diminishing. That means it’s time to take a break, retreat, and fill up. Jesus knew the importance of getting away from the noise and commotion, and He knew in order to continue to do His Work, He had to spend uninterrupted time with His Father. We’re really no different, and in fact, we probably need to take more breaks than Jesus did.

So this week, this is the extent of my blog. I know when I’m in need of restoration - mentally, physically, and spiritually. I’m using this week to retreat, refresh, pray, and get back up on my feet. I hope you will take the time soon to do the same for yourself.

See you next week!
