Amanda Hughley is a Christian author, teacher, wife, and mother.

Amanda writes and teaches for people who love God but are tired of shallow answers—both everyday believers and those walking through deconstruction, doubt, or suffering. She holds a special place for those living with chronic illnesses & pain. Rooted in careful study of Scripture and sound theology, her heart is to offer an authentic, inviting presence while also calling people toward deeper truth and spiritual maturity.

Amanda’s hope is to help others move beyond religion based on performance and harmful theology, and into a real, personal relationship with God—one marked by honesty, depth, healing, and lasting transformation.

Amanda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, and a Master of Education degree in Community Counseling. She has worked with youth in various non-profit agencies around the city of Chicago. Currently, she cherishes raising her sons as a stay-at-home mother. Amanda serves in ministry at New Life Covenant Southeast under the leadership of Pastor John F. Hannah. Amanda lives in Brookfield, IL with the loves of her life - husband, Jonathan, and sons, Elijah and Micah.
