Amanda Hughley is a Christian blogger, writer, wife, and mother.

Amanda lives with Autoimmune Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, both illnesses that cause debilitating pain and difficulty in everyday life. Because of God’s great love and grace, Amanda has made it her mission to encourage others, particularly women, who live with chronic illnesses or chronic pain. Amanda believes that finding purpose and embracing God’s love in the midst of suffering and pain are the keys to possessing true joy and peace. Amanda’s ministry is based in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV): “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Amanda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, and a Master of Education degree in Community Counseling. She has worked with youth in various non-profit agencies around the city of Chicago. Currently, she cherishes raising her sons as a stay-at-home mother. She also hosts her own Youtube channel and serves in ministry at New Life Covenant Southeast under the leadership of Pastor John F. Hannah. Amanda lives in Brookfield, IL with the loves of her life - husband, Jonathan, and sons, Elijah and Micah.
